Trans World Airlines (TWA) was one of the big four domestic airlines in the US, operating from 1930 to 2001. Throughout its 70 year reign, some 300 aircraft flew for TWA, including 37 Boeing 747s. The only airplane with a name that's a household word - the Boeing 747-100 revolutionized intercontinental air travel in the 1970s with its unmatched combination of size and range. The result: the lowest operating costs in the industry, making the 747 a favorite of airlines and passengers alike. Known as the Plane that Shrank the World, it became an icon of long-haul travel and exotic holidays; Boeing’s 747 could fly more people further than any plane before.
N129TW remained in Pinal Airpark for decades, a treasure of history wasting away in the desert. We are honored to give new life to this aviation giant, known for its iconic branding and design, before being dismantled forever . Join us in celebrating this incredible Queen of the Skies with our exclusive, limited run of TWA 747 PlaneTags.

PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.
I'm new to collecting Planetags, but I'm getting excited just to know where all these tags coming from. I have my first one and I will continue getting more. Thank you Dave. V/r Carlos
For the one who has everything, they probably don't have one of these. My father-in-law loved his plane tag because it was functional, but also because of the significance of it being from a TWA plane, which his late father flew.
I gave a TWA plane tag to my brother for Christmas. Our Dad - who died Jan. 2020, somewhat unexpectedly - flew for TWA for 36 years. This afforded my brother and me the privilege of seeing worlds far beyond our own hometown. What a gift. What memories. What a man. You would have adored him, too. Thank you for creating this wonderful, perfect way to honor someone like Dad. My brother carries the tag as a keychain and is proud to let folks know why. I’m a fan for life. Will definitely recommend Plane Tags.
The tags were great presents for my x-twa flight attendant friends. They are also very useful. Everyone i gave one to complimented me on a unique gift. Being an American employee ive given out over ten of the dc-6 x-aa x-water-bomber aircraft key-chains every one is honored to have a piece of American airline history. Quite a few of your key chains are flying around Americans system!!! Sincerely chuck eason- 52 year aa employee
I flew this aircraft at TWA as a crew member. I was beyond thrilled to receive this. Bought the A-380 from Singapore Airlines, too. This is a reputable company I would very highly recommend.
I was so glad to find this. It may or may not be from a plane that my dad flew, but I’d like to think it was. Great tag!
I gave these tags to a friend for Christmas. She is a former TWA Flight Attendant and remembers flying on this plane! It was her favorite gift and she mentions it every time we talk! She can't wait to use them on her carry on bags when we can travel again! These are such a great remembrance for airline people! Excellent quality and worth the price.
Thumbs up, fast service
After my purchase, they went on sale buy one get one free, felt ripped off... I would probably have purchased more but, getting ripped off not going to buy any more
When I travel I always have other travelers ask me where I got my cool baggage tag’s on my carry on’s.
Wonderful! I never thought that I will get a piece of a B747-100 from TWA and it is also a special livery Me as an aviation lover I collect the PlaneTags as much as I can because of each own history and more I am still 14 years old and I want to be a commercial plane captain and owning/ collecting those wonderful tags are supporting me more than ever expect when I fly Thank you planetags for your products!
Love the personalized engraving. Great piece of history.
Feels wonderful to have a piece of history in my hands. As a F/A for TWA for 32 years I know that I have walked down the aisle of this plane many times.
After receiving the first PlaneTag for TWA, was eager to have a Custom one for my daily use. This custom TWA goes onto my backpack & travels with me everywhere. Thanks MotoArt for this wonderful piece of TWA history.
This is such a unique piece that has special meaning to me. I flew this plane and have such incredible memories of not only the aircraft, but the destinations as well. I almost didn’t purchase it, but am SO glad I did. This has allowed TWA to give me one final gift. And I will treasure it always.
Looking forward to handling it, it's a christmas present from my wife.
I love my Planetag that I received of the TWA 747. Every time I look at it, reminds me of working on that plane. Thank you!!!
