Delta Air Lines' Airbus A320 fleet has played a vital role in the airline's operations for years, and MotoArt is proud to announce the creation of PlaneTags made from N309US, a retired Delta A320.
Learn more about it on our blog: Delta's A320: From Northwest Merger to Fleet Staple.
OUR PLANE'S STORY
N309US took its first flight on August 8, 1990, and was delivered to Northwest Airlines, where it served until the airline's merger with Delta in 2008. After the merger, the aircraft continued to operate under Delta’s colors until its retirement in 2023, marking over three decades of service in commercial aviation.
The A320, known for its advanced technology and passenger-friendly design, has been a staple in Delta's fleet, operating on both domestic and short international routes. Delta utilized the A320 for its versatility and efficiency, making it a key player in connecting travelers across the country.
In 2024, MotoArt transformed sections of N309US into commemorative PlaneTags. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Delta Care Fund, supporting Delta employees in need. Don’t miss the chance to own a piece of aviation history—get your Delta Air Lines Airbus A320 PlaneTags today.

PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag.
