Where Pilots Earn Their Wings
The first takeoff. The first solo. The moment a student pilot realizes they can fly an airplane on their own. For generations of aviators, these unforgettable milestones happened in the cockpit of a Cessna 152.
Known for its forgiving handling, simple design, and dependable performance, this little two-seat trainer helped countless pilots discover the freedom of flight.
Now, MotoArt PlaneTags is preserving that legacy with authentic aircraft material from a 1979 Cessna 152, N4921H.
OUR PLANE'S STORY

The Cessna 152: A Flight Training Legend
Introduced for the 1978 model year as the successor to the popular Cessna 150, the Cessna 152 became one of the most recognizable training aircraft in general aviation.
Powered by a 110-horsepower Lycoming O-235 engine, the 152 combined straightforward controls, fixed tricycle landing gear, and predictable handling characteristics. Its simplicity made it ideal for teaching essential flying skills, from takeoffs and landings to navigation and emergency procedures.
More than 7,500 were built before production ended in 1985, establishing the Cessna 152 as a lasting symbol of flight training.

The Story of N4921H
Manufactured in 1979, Cessna 152 N4921H carried serial number 152-84021 and accumulated more than 6,455 hours of recorded service.
On August 18, 1993, N4921H was substantially damaged during an instructional flight at Hardwick Field in Cleveland, Tennessee. Both the instructor and student pilot escaped without injury.
In 2026, MotoArt transformed material from this aircraft into PlaneTags, giving a piece of its history a new purpose. Each PlaneTag preserves an authentic connection to the aircraft type that helped generations of pilots earn their wings.
More Than a Collectible
For pilots who learned to fly in a Cessna 152, this PlaneTag represents something personal.
"Owning a 152 PlaneTag would mean the world to me. I have so many hours in one that it's basically my baby." Husam Bazzi, Pilot and PlaneTags Collector
Whether it recalls a first solo, a favorite flight, or the aircraft that started a lifelong passion for aviation, each Cessna 152 PlaneTag preserves a tangible connection to those memories.

PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag.
