Custom Eastern Airlines DC-9 Tail #N8990E

My son is an aviation major at a university and absolutely loved the plane tags as a gift for making the Dean's list. I had them engraved with his information so that he could put them on his backpack. He was so impressed by them that he put them on his bookshelf because he did not want them to get scratched. I plan on buying him one every time that he makes the Dean's list.

Classic Eastern Airlines!!!!! To me, this is a piece of airline history. I proudly wear my easily identifiable tag on my day-to-day sling bag. I absolutely love it!

I am thrilled with my purchase. I would have purchased additional ones, but costly. Was a bit disappointed in the depth of engraving on one side, it didn’t appear very deep. Concerned if over time it would become difficult to read.

On my key chain to remember and honor a family that was once Eastern Air Lines. Too bad mom and dad never married.
