Known as the Queen of the Skies, the Boeing 747 has flown as luxury liner and jumbo cargo carrier since 1969. Cut and engraved directly from the skin of a historic Boeing 747 decommissioned airplane, this limited edition, one-of-a-kind Plane Tag has been resurrected from its time in the clouds to live on as a versatile and practical memento. Over 100 years after humankind’s mechanical marvels conquered the skies, you too can hold a token of the immense feat of aviation in the palm of your hand.
Important Notice – Please Read Carefully
PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because they are made from real fuselage, each one bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.

Bought one for myself and as a gift - they loved their tag, and so do I! The braided metal loop and twist-clasp are sure to stand up to baggage handling better than most tags, and there's a level of satisfaction in knowing that a piece of this beautiful old Queen will continue to take to the skies for decades to come. These were my first tags, but they won't be my last!
Always impressed with your product. This latest purchase were 747-200 and 747-300 and yet I had to dive deep to find that information out. I think you would increase the value if you cite not only the history, but the model number as you used to on the older plain tags I have. There were 168 747-100s; (45 short-bodied long range 747-100 SPs; 29 short-range 747-100 SRs; would love one of each) 393 747-200s; 81 stretched upper deck 747-300s; (therefore rare as well) 694 747-400s. I believe my collection now has one of each of the models, just missing an SP, an SR, and, of course a 747-8.
Plane tag is No-1
This tag is a “You must have it“
Great add to the collection!
At first not taught this a general b747. After looking at the registration number it turns out that this b747 is a b747-3. Overall I like my planetag and recommend it if you are a b747 collector.
A lovely product as a keep sake of the 747. However I live in the uk and as well as the money I paid to the company for the item plus shipping I then had to pay the uk post service £12.88 in import duty before they would deliver the item to me. Made it very expensive.
I am impressed once again these tags are the real deal with actual aluminum from a retired 747.( not a clone or knock off)
I'm probably never going to fly on a 747, so this is the next best thing. The closest I can get to one and it fits right in my pocket, my very own piece of 747 I can take anywhere. I have bought several MotoArt PlaneTags and have been very happy with the quality and finish of each one. Cant wait to see what new releases may come in the future. Keep up the good work!
This was the start of my small collection. I found them to be like potato chips, just can't have one.
Very cool product for Father’s Day gift! Looks really nice in person.
Very cool piece!
it looks so cool and my boyfriend loves it!
Happy to get a part of 747.
