PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Own a piece of aviation history with a PlaneTag made from China Airlines Boeing 747-400, Tail #B-18201.  This aircraft was delivered from Everett, WA in May 1997 and spent its entire passenger flight time with China Airlines.  With over 20 years of active service, this limited edition, one-of-a-kind PlaneTag has been resurrected from its time in the clouds to live on as a versatile and practical memento.

The fuselage cut from China Airlines 747 came from two sections.   The main body fuselage where we have the white, light and dark lavender colors represent the majority of skins that we could harvest with the fun combination colors of lavender.  The vertical tail section from the China Airlines included a beautiful signature Plum Blossom logo.   We were only able to cut a very small section of material from the tail because the fabrication of the Boeing 747 vertical is mostly made up from composite material.

*Important Notice – Please Read Carefully

PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you have a limited option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.
