My father made a jump from a DC--3/C-47 during WWII and continued serving through Korea and Vietnam. I picked up where he left off with a 27 year career in the military (5yrs as a Marine and 22 yrs flying for the Air Force). Retired from American Airlines after another 17 years) So now you can understand my love of military aircraft and this particular aircraft.

United StatesThis was a gift purchase. Our father flew this DC-3 for American Airlines. Its cockpit has been restored and will soon be on display at the Tulsa Air & Space museum. My sister and I are loaning pilot and stewardess uniforms belonging to our parents and flight logs to hopefully go along with that display. The tags are done extremely well with a strong cable/screw catch for attaching them. Definitely great quality work and in our case a special memento of our parents.
